Apr 26, 2015 · if the pump times at 18deg and that pointer is there and the pump marks are lined up,it should be in time no mater what the dot says. Always check timing marks vs deg pointer after turning engine by hand in direction of rotation to eliminate any gear backlash. That helical is a machining mark from a sloppy operator. Cant explain the raw fuel.
